Bail bond services

We connect families with independent, licensed bail bond agents. We are not a bail bond company, surety, insurer, or law firm, and we do not post bail ourselves. Bond premiums, collateral, and forfeiture rules are set by the agent and applicable state law. You must review and sign the agent's agreement before a bond is posted.

Free directory vs. paid searches

Our facility directory and roster search is free and draws from public inmate listings we compile. Separate paid background-check and arrest-record searches may redirect you to TruthFinder, a third-party public-records service. Those reports may include additional records beyond our directory. TruthFinder is not a consumer reporting agency; reports must not be used for FCRA-regulated decisions.

User accounts

Creating an account on PrisonAssist.com lets you save orders and access service workspaces. Account registration does not change the informational nature of directory data or the FCRA restrictions above. You are responsible for activity under your account.
