Union Supply Direct is one of the largest suppliers of inmate packages in the country. Operating since 1991, it ships pre-approved food, personal-care items, clothing, and electronics to incarcerated people on behalf of many state departments of corrections.

What you can send

• Food packages — snacks and groceries from name brands.

Union Supply automatically removes items that aren't approved by the state, so the catalog you see is already filtered to what your facility allows. Most products ship the same day (music is the usual exception).

Payment

Union Supply Direct accepts Mastercard, Visa, and Discover, plus money orders, institution checks, and personal checks. Cash payment is available through ACE Cash Express (print your order summary and pay at a nearby location). Full payment is required before an order is processed; for card payments, your card is typically charged when the package ships.
